Girls’ Emerald Green Velvet Frill Neck Dress | Giorgio Bambini
Rich jewel tones and traditional styling come together beautifully in this girls’ emerald green velvet dress by Giorgio Bambini. Elegant yet wonderfully wearable, this striking dress is a gorgeous choice for Christmas celebrations, winter parties and those special occasions when only her best dress will do.
The sumptuous emerald green velvet gives the design its distinctive look, creating a deep, luxurious colour that is particularly beautiful during the autumn and winter months. Cut in a timeless A-line shape, the dress has an elegant simplicity that allows its beautiful details to really stand out.
Framing the neckline is a pretty frill that continues all the way around the dress, creating an attractive finish from both the front and back. At the centre front sits a matching grosgrain ribbon bow, adding a traditional touch that perfectly complements the classic styling.
The shape of the dress is enhanced by three pleats positioned just below the chest. These add gentle structure and fullness through the lower part of the dress, allowing the velvet to hang beautifully while maintaining the clean lines of the A-line silhouette.
Long sleeves make this a lovely choice for cooler weather, but it is their unusual finishing detail that makes them extra special. Each sleeve opens into a graceful split bell-style cuff, finished with its own coordinating grosgrain ribbon bow for a beautifully polished look.
Emerald green is such a wonderful colour for the festive season, offering a sophisticated alternative to traditional Christmas red while still feeling unmistakably seasonal. Add tights and smart shoes for Christmas Day, or style it for winter weddings, birthday celebrations, family gatherings and festive photographs.
A truly timeless Giorgio Bambini design, this is a dress she can wear whenever the occasion calls for something elegant, classic and a little bit special.
